This is my favorite hangout because I have to drink a lot to be able to deal with the two idiots that I work with in the morning!  I know the only reason they are the hosts of the show is because they are men and I'm not!

I am affectionately known as one of the "Tassey Twins" because I spend a lot of quality time here with my best friend who I didn't mention anywhere on this website.  Kato would have mentioned me if he had a website, but I didn't mention him here because this is all about ME!  Here's my story:

Flaky Aiken's mother and father met in Germany during World War II.  Who cares?  Let's move on to something more interesting shall we?   

Growing up, she was an "Army brat" - now she's just a brat!  Ha ha!!!  Eventually blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, yada yada yada yada, blah blah blah blah blah, yada yada yada yada.  And then they came back to the United States. 

Her first job was at WNOK-FM in Columbia, South Carolina on the overnight shift.  She then "burst on the scene" in Easley, South Carolina where she worked for (a small radio station you've never heard of) as a Country D.J.  A short time later she was courted ("courted?"  Is she SERIOUS???  They weren't trying to date you, they just hired you for a weekend shift!!! Hello!!  Earth to Flaky Aiken.  Anyone home?) away from that glamorous position by WESC-FM where she worked weekends.

Joke:  Knock Knock!  Who's there?  Flaky Aiken!  Oh, never mind, I'll come back when someone is home! Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Next, she left WESC - with her poor husband Larry, (God Bless the man, he was married to Miss High Maintenance!) - and headed South for "fame and fortune" working at TV station in Miami, Florida.  Her daughter, Lauren Ashley (who is HOT I might add!), was born while she was in Miami and a few years later they moved back to the Upstate.  This time she lived in Williamston - which she often refers to lovingly as her "adopted hometown."  Then she was hired by B93.7  where she has worked ever since.  (Is anyone still reading this crap?) 

She also worked for WYFF-TV on the early morning news and did live shots on the midday news, but radio was the only job that would keep her so here she is today as the flaky newsperson on (THE HAWK AND TOM SHOW) on B93.7 each weekday from 5:30 am - 9:30 am.

Some other things you should know about her: She's AVAILABLE!  She just hasn't found a man who is able to handle someone as high maintenance as her!  Flaky says, "I don't understand it, waiters hate me just because I like my salad dressing on the side.  And, oh yeah, could you bring the cucumbers with no skin and no tomatoes please and could I get some extra croutons please?  I'd also like a grilled swiss-cheese sandwich on rye bread with some sour krauts but don't charge me for a Reuben sandwich because its not you know! Ha ha!"

Flaky also writes:  I have two dogs, Monet is hairy and Cassie is also hairy!  I used to have a cat named Jackson but he JUMPED out of the window and some listener heard the sad story about it on the air and adopted the cat!  I had two turtles too, but I left one on the counter and it JUMPED to its death and we buried it in front of the station (I KID YOU NOT, THAT IS TRUE!) I gave the other turtle away.  My dogs love me!  Here's a cute picture of them...
